NOLAX - ROLE IN PV-GUM - EXPERIENCE

The contribution of nolax will be focussed on WP 3 which deals with the development of a suitable material for the encapsulation of the PV cells. The objective of this development is the evaluation, formulation and commissioning of a material which fulfils the extremely demanding requirements of the industry with respect to both economics and technology.
EXPERIENCE
Nolax belongs to Collano Group, that also incorporates Collano Adhesives AG and Collano Services AG. Pioneer work, and over six decades of intensive development, yielded an in-depth know-how of the adhesive market, application and technology, that will be implemented in PV GUM project. Since decades, Collano Group has been recognised in the industry as one of the global technology leaders in the area of adhesive films. These films are based on thermoplastic compounds and are produced either by blow or cast extrusion. Collano Group operates production sites for adhesive films in Schmitten (Switzerland) and Buxtehude (Germany).
